Blue sky over Berlin
Berlin is not a city of high rises where the sky is hidden behind glass and steel, but where the blue sky is very prominent on sunny days. Looking up in Berlin also reveals hidden gems of its arty subculture.
So this is Christmas
Before the rents skyrocketed, Friedrichshain had a different kind of sparkle. Some glimmers of this forgotten magic of Christmas in this gritty, creative corner of Berlin still exist. A glimpse into a Berlin that’s fading fast.
